OpenSSL
OpenSSL is an open source implementation of the SSL and TLS protocols. Their versions are available for most Unix-like operating systems.
Organisation Validation (OV)
There are three types of SSL certificates, with differing validation methods. These are Domain Validation (DV), Organisation Validation (OV) and Extended Validation (EV) certificates. OV certificates sit between Domain and Extended Validation certificates. OV proves the authenticity of your organisation and demonstrates to the customer that you are a responsible and trustworthy entity.
