ECC Encryption
ECC or Elliptical Curve Cryptography is the ideal encryption for the mobile world. It contains shorter key lengths than RSA and DSA, allowing for speedier connections. It is also up to twelve times stronger, with 3,072-bit RSA key equating to 256-bit ECC. For more information click here or visit our blog.
Encryption
A security method to achieve data security. It makes information unreadable to anyone who doesn't have a key to decipher it. There are two main types of encryption: asymmetric encryption and symmetric encryption.
EV SSL (Extended Validation SSL)
There are three types of SSL certificates, with differing validation methods. These are domain, organisation and extended validation certificates. EV instils the highest level of confidence, as it shows the green bar of trust in the browser address bar proving the site has passed the most stringent tests of ownership. Compare EV with other types of validation.
