Problem
When you enroll for a WLAN certificate the error message occurs, after entering the Certificate (Distinguished Name) information:
"Error 80092023: Illegal character in a key name for a certificate"
Cause
The private key cannot be generated. This is the result of a - (dash) , (comma) or ; (semi-colon) added in one of the Distinguished Name fields, usually the Organisation name.
Resolution
You will have to remove the special character from the affected field and re-submit the information.
