Create a Certificate Signing Request for Cobalt RaQ4/XTR

In order to generate a CSR on a Cobalt Web Server, you first have to enable SSL on a Virtual Site.

1. Go to "Server Management".

2. Click on Green Wrench (RaQ4) or Pencil (XTR) next to the virtual site which you want to enable SSL.

3. On the Site Management UI, click "Site Settings" on your left (or "General" if XTR).

4. Select "Enable SSL" and click "Save Changes".

Create a self-signed SSL Certificate

1. Go to "Server Management".

2. Click on Green Wrench (RaQ4) or Pencil (XTR) next to the virtual site which you want to enable SSL.

3. On the Site Management UI, click "Site Settings" on your left (or "General" if XTR).

4. In the Certificate Subject Information table, fill in the fields:

Organisation - The legal (officially registered) name of your organization/company include Inc., LLP., Pvt, Plc. Ltd. SARL., etc
Organisational unit - The name of your department within the organization (this is often "IT," "Web," or is just left blank).
Locality - The city or town in which your organization is located.
Statee - The state in which your organization is located.
Country - Click here for the official list of ISO country codes for this field.

5. Click "Generate Self-Signed Certificate" from the menu at the bottom.

6. Save Changes.

7. RaQ4/XTR generates the screen with your Certificate Request and Certificate.

8. Save and open the CSR file and copy/paste the entire contents (including the BEGIN and END tags) into our order form.
